Word on the street is, many of our favorite vodka brands are distilled with wheat. So if you're getting ready to pop open a jar of olives after a long work week, make sure you check your ingredients label on your favorite vodka brand.
Note: Distillation processes can eliminate the wheat most of the time. But not always. So when in doubt, here's a list I pulled from a fellow GF blogger, gfreefoodie.com :
Vodkas distilled with:Wheat: Stolichnaya (blend), Grey Goose, Ketel One, Snow Queen, Pearl, Van Gogh (blend), La Chance, Vox, Polar Ice, Absolut, Trump, X-Rated (blend), *Three Olives is also Wheat-distilled, but declares itself to be Gluten-Free on the Three Olives website
